Our Story
We met on July 6, 2015 in Calgary and were introduced at a Calgary Stampede event. We had an instant connection and got to know each other over lunch. We opened up, laughed, told our life stories and everyone else in the room disappeared. We spent the next couple of days together at Stampede with great food, friends, concerts and of course the rodeo. In the end we agreed to go out on a date once we were back in Toronto and the rest is history!

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID
Seriously. A 6'4" cowboy. At a work event....at the Calgary Stampede. HE caught my attention? But yeah, it was just like that. His over the top generosity, crazy attention to me, and ability to make me laugh out loud? I couldn't help but be drawn right in, and pretty much gave him the next two days of my time - and said 'yes' to the date back home ...with the caveat, this needs to be 'light and easy'... which lasted about a week. This journey is one I wasn't asking for, looking for, or even thought I needed. It has been a roller coaster of life in two years, and I am SO not easy to be with (hold your head nods please)... and yet Kevin May loves me. And to make it just a tiny bit spiritual... God knew. I truly cannot imagine being in this life journey without this giant of a man, who I love ridiculously so.
THAT'S WHAT HE SAID
So... I got Pam's number to coordinate with her and Tim to meet at a Blue Rodeo concert (I know... smooth). I had a few hours to reflect on our amazing discussion. Who was this girl with her great smile that I could not stop thinking about? During the event we got closer, and by the end of the night, Tim was asking my intentions with his friend Pam.
We ended the night talking for hours and planning to do something together the next day. The last two years have been outstanding (yes Jaclyn... "outstanding"). The path that Pam and I have had, in parallel with my own "God" journey, has been like nothing I have ever experienced. It has had its ups and downs, lots of great feelings, and heart to heart conversations about bringing our lives together. I love Pam with all my heart, and feel more loved then I knew possible.

This is going to be an intimate event for our family, friends and community. Our dating lives over the last two years have been an amazing journey and we are excited for this next step in our lives.
